Archaeologists Claim to Have Found the Church of the First Council of Nicaea: What Does the Bible Say? https://adventistangelswatchmanradio.com/2026/07/25/archaeologists-claim-to-have-found-the-church-of-the-first-council-of-nicaea-what-does-the-bible-say/ 🏛️ ARCHAEOLOGISTS CLAIM TO HAVE FOUND THE CHURCH OF THE FIRST COUNCIL OF NICAEA!A possible discovery beneath Lake Iznik, Türkiye, may reveal the location of the First Council of Nicaea (A.D. 325), where Emperor Constantine gathered bishops to settle church disputes and produce the Nicene Creed.🔍 Biblical Lessons 📖 Archaeology can confirm history, but God's Word alone establishes truth (John 17:17). ✝️ Christ—not church councils or buildings—is the foundation of the Christian faith (1 Corinthians 3:11). 📜 Every doctrine must be tested by "the law and the testimony" (Isaiah 8:20). 👑 History shows the dangers of unions between church and state, a theme emphasized in Bible prophecy (Daniel 7; Revelation 17). 🌍 Ancient churches may fall, but the Word of God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8). ✍️ Ellen G. White "The Bible, and the Bible only, is to be our creed." — The Great Controversy🙏 Final Appeal As interest in early Christianity grows, let us build our faith not on relics or traditions but on Jesus Christ, the Holy Scriptures, and the everlasting gospel. Part 5: Faith and Fear, Christian Nationalism, the Final Crisis, the Image of the Beast, the Loud Cry, and the Everlasting Gospel—A Biblical and Adventist Prophetic Perspective https://adventistangelswatchmanradio.com/2026/07/01/part-5-faith-and-fear-christian-nationalism-the-final-crisis-the-image-of-the-beast-the-loud-cry-and-the-everlasting-gospel-a-biblical-and-adventist-prophetic-perspective/ 📰 PROPHECY IN THE NEWS | PART 5 America at 250: Faith and Fear, Christian Nationalism, the Final Crisis, the Image of the Beast, the Loud Cry, and the Everlasting Gospel As America marks 250 years, conversations about faith, national identity, and Christianity continue to shape public life. While many seek moral renewal, the Bible reminds us that lasting revival comes through Jesus Christ and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit—not through national identity alone. 📖 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1 The Scriptures point beyond earthly kingdoms to the everlasting Kingdom of God. Jesus taught that His followers belong first to His heavenly kingdom. 📖 "My kingdom is not of this world." — John 18:36 Historic Seventh-day Adventists understand Revelation 13 as warning of a future crisis involving worship and freedom of conscience. The central issue will be faithfulness to God, and the Bible calls believers to stand firm in truth while respecting the freedom of conscience of every person. Before Christ returns, Revelation describes the Loud Cry—the final worldwide proclamation of the everlasting gospel, calling all people to worship the Creator and prepare for the coming King. 📖 "Come out of her, my people." — Revelation 18:4 📖 "Fear God, and give glory to Him... and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." — Revelation 14:7 📖 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." — Revelation 14:12 🙏 Our hope is not in earthly governments, but in Jesus Christ, who is soon coming to establish His eternal kingdom. Let us proclaim the Three Angels' Messages, defend religious liberty, and prepare the world for His glorious return. 🎙️ Adventist Angels Watchman Radio Ev. Identity Part 4: Cold War Christianity, "Under God," "In God We Trust," Billy Graham, and America in the Light of Revelation 13 https://adventistangelswatchmanradio.com/2026/07/01/identity-part-4-cold-war-christianity-under-god-in-god-we-trust-billy-graham-and-america-in-the-light-of-revelation-13/ 📰 PROPHECY IN THE NEWS | PART 4 Cold War Christianity, "Under God," "In God We Trust," Billy Graham, and America in the Light of Revelation 13 Following World War II, the Cold War shaped America's public religious identity. During this period, "Under God" was added to the Pledge of Allegiance (1954), and "In God We Trust" became the national motto and appeared on U.S. currency. Many viewed these changes as affirming faith during a time of global uncertainty. 📖 The Bible reminds us that true trust in God is demonstrated by faith, repentance, and obedience—not by words or national symbols alone. "Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it." — Psalm 127:1 Billy Graham's evangelistic ministry encouraged millions to turn to Christ. Yet, like the Bereans, believers are called to examine every teaching through the Scriptures. "They searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." — Acts 17:11 Historic Seventh-day Adventists have understood Revelation 13 as warning of a future time when religious and civil powers will cooperate in ways that challenge freedom of conscience. While public acknowledgment of God may reflect sincere convictions, the gospel calls for heart transformation, not compelled religion. 📖 "My kingdom is not of this world." — John 18:36 📖 "Fear God, and give glory to Him... and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." — Revelation 14:7 📖 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." — Revelation 14:12 🙏 Let us stand for biblical truth, religious liberty, and the everlasting gospel, preparing a people for the soon return of Jesus Christ. 🎙️ Adventist Angels Watchman Radio Ev. Part 2: The Civil War, Constitutional Amendments, and the Rise of Church-State Movements https://adventistangelswatchmanradio.com/2026/06/28/part-2-the-civil-war-constitutional-amendments-and-the-rise-of-church-state-movements/ 📰 PROPHECY IN THE NEWS | PART 2 The Civil War, Constitutional Amendments, and the Rise of Church-State Movements History reveals that in times of national crisis, many people turn to God and seek His guidance. During the American Civil War, both the Union and the Confederacy appealed to God's favor, while later movements sought to recognize Christianity in the U.S. Constitution. 📖 Yet the Bible teaches that true revival begins with repentance and obedience, not merely with national declarations or constitutional changes. "My kingdom is not of this world." — John 18:36 Jesus separated the mission of His church from the power of earthly governments. Christians are called to respect civil authority while remaining faithful to God's commandments above all else. 📖 "We ought to obey God rather than men." — Acts 5:29 The Spirit of Prophecy reminds us that religious liberty is a sacred gift, and history warns against the union of church and state in matters of conscience. "The union of church and state... brings the church nearer to the world." — Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 297 As Bible prophecy unfolds, God's people are called to proclaim the everlasting gospel, uphold freedom of conscience, and prepare for Christ's soon return. 📖 "Fear God, and give glory to Him... and worship Him that made heaven, and earth." — Revelation 14:7 📖 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." — Revelation 14:12 🎙️ Adventist Angels Watchman Radio Ev.
