πͺπ§πΊπΈ REFLECT. REPENT. RESTORE.
The news of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool turning green after a costly restoration reminds us of a deeper spiritual lesson. In God's sanctuary, the brass laver was made from the mirrors of the women (Exodus 38:8)—a place where worshippers could both see themselves and be cleansed before entering God's presence.
π The Bible calls the Ten Commandments the "perfect law of liberty" (James 1:25). The law is like a mirror: it reveals the condition of the heart, while Christ alone can wash away sin through His grace.
β¨ A nation may restore monuments and beautify cities, but Heaven calls for something greater—the restoration of character, truth, and liberty of conscience.
“For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass.” — James 1:23
“Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” — Revelation 14:12
π Awaken America. Awaken the Church.
πͺ Look into the mirror of God's Law.
π§ Seek cleansing through the Word and the blood of Christ.
ποΈ Defend the gift of religious liberty.
π Prepare to meet thy God.
