On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the achievements of women and girls across all walks of life, in all corners of the world

But we also recognize the enormous obstacles they face — from structural injustices, marginalization, and violence, to cascading crises that affect them first and worst, to the denial of their personal autonomy and rights over their bodies and lives.

Gender-based discrimination harms everyone – women, girls, men, and boys.

International Women’s Day is a call to action.

Action to stand with women who are demanding their fundamental rights at great personal cost.

Action to strengthen protection against sexual exploitation and abuse.

And action to accelerate women’s full participation and leadership.

THERE IS TOMORROW.

Whenever you are dealing with people, you must always remember that there is tomorrow and you might need them tomorrow.

You may end up needing help from the people who are asking for your help today so help them if and when you can.Life is like a moving wheel, sometimes you are up and sometimes you are down.

Sometimes we destroy the bridges that we might need to help us cross back tomorrow because of temporary positions and wealth.

Sometimes we treat people as though there is never going to be tomorrow. We sometimes act as though we will never need help from any one. Remember there's tomorrow. Yes there is tomorrow.

Joseph helped the cupbearer in prison and later the cupbearer connected Joseph with Pharaoh.

Imagine how Portiphar’s wife felt when she heard that Joseph was now the Governor of Egypt after she had falsely accused him.

The brothers who sold Joseph away ended up being fed by him.

Don't ever think tomorrow you will not need that " useless" person today, they might just be rescuers tomorrow.

In my life I have seen the untouchables, the wealthy, the powerful going back to those they looked down upon.

Always remember there is tomorrow and it will surely come.

The little help you give to people today, will profit you tomorrow.

May the good Lord touch your heart to live your life as if there is tomorrow.

One thing that I have learned so far is that life doesn't stop just because you are suffering. Life will stop for you, but it will move on for other people. It doesn't matter whether your child has died today, your employer expects you to go back to work after a week. It doesn't matter whether you are depressed and dead inside, your kid needs to eat and the landlord wants money. There is never time to process suffering. Right now as we speak, many people are dying of hunger and diseases but since it's not us, it's not really our problem. We can sympathise with them but we don't feel their pain because it is not us.
If you have not experienced this, wait until you hit rock bottom. You'll realize time doesn't stop to give you time to heal before moving on. You might suffer tonight, but your suffering won't change the fact that tomorrow is Saturday and things need to be done. You might be depressed to the point of wanting to stay in bed all day, but you have bills to pay. Time doesn't care about your problems. It will always move.
The best solution according to me is to belong somewhere. Belong to a church group, belong to a friends' group. Belong somewhere. It makes life easier when you have a support system.
