💧 WATER CRISIS & THE COMING TEST OF FAITH
The growing water shortages, droughts, and restrictions remind us that the world's resources are becoming increasingly strained. While governments seek practical solutions, the Bible calls God's people to place their trust in Christ above earthly systems.
"The earth mourneth and fadeth away... because they have transgressed the laws." (Isaiah 24:4–5)
Key Lessons
🌍 Climate and environmental crises remind us that creation groans under the effects of sin. (Romans 8:22)
💧 Water shortages teach the importance of faithful stewardship of God's creation. (Genesis 2:15)
⚖️ Christians should respect lawful authorities while remaining loyal to God above all. (Romans 13:1; Acts 5:29)
🙏 Fear and scarcity test character and reveal where our trust is placed. (Matthew 6:33)
📖 Jesus alone is the Living Water who satisfies every spiritual need. (John 4:14; John 7:37–38)
Prophetic Insight
Ellen G. White wrote:
"In the last great conflict... those who are loyal to God will see every earthly support cut off."
(The Desire of Ages, pp. 121–122; Last Day Events, p. 148)
She also warned:
"For fear of wanting food and clothing they will join with the world in transgressing God's law."
(Prophets and Kings, pp. 183–184)
These statements, in Seventh-day Adventist teaching, refer to the future crisis over worship and obedience described in Revelation 13. Present-day shortages can serve as reminders of the importance of preparing spiritually.
Our Response
✅ Trust God rather than fear circumstances.
✅ Use God's resources wisely.
✅ Care for those affected by drought and hardship.
✅ Study Bible prophecy prayerfully.
✅ Remain faithful to God's commandments.
✅ Prepare for the soon return of Jesus Christ.
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33)
