Kabras Sugar defeated Menengai Oilers 19-7  to win the Kakamega Sevens at the Bull Ring in Kakamega.

Despite the defeat, Menengai Oilers were crowned overall Sevens Series champions after beating KCB 17-12 in the semis.

 

They finished the season with 113 points for their first-ever national sevens title.

KCB finished second overall with 107 points after finishing third overall in Kakamega with a 21-14 win over Strathmore Leos.

In the final, Kenya Simbas’ Jone Kubu made the first try between the posts for the champions with Barry Robinson adding the extras for 7-0 lead.
