Tottenham forward Kit Graham has been ruled out for the remainder of the Women's Super League season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in Sunday's defeat by West Ham.

The 26-year-old left the field on a stretcher after hurting her knee as she challenged Kate Longhurst for the ball in the first-half.

Spurs have said Graham "will now begin a period of rehabilitation".

She is in her third season with Spurs after joining from Charlton in 2019.

Spurs got a 1-0 victory against Birmingham City Women on Saturday, their first win in four games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

he Lilywhites forward got Player of the Match for her performance, as she got the only goal of the game in the 40th minute.

In her post-match interview, the 25-year-old described that her goal was something they often work on in training.

"We always work on drawing players out for short corners, it's just something we know we can exploit," she said.


In the second half, the battle for supremacy continued, but the final pass was lacking for both sides. 

Chances were at a premium, but the home side continued to work hard on a bitterly cold afternoon at the Chigwell Construction Stadium. 

Ashleigh Neville went close for the visitors with 65 minutes on the clock, but her effort from outside the area zipped past the post.
