Freedom by the Jar of Oil

Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.” II Kings 4:7 NKJV

From the jar of oil, many vessels were filled which generated income that could pay off the debts left behind by the husband and also take care of the daily needs of the widow and sons.

From the little jar, this widow and her sons became free from the threat of slavery.

Our freedom in this life depends largely on how we harness the little store of gifts deposited in our lives for greater good.

As we pour the little we have into faith-filled ventures and impact lives with these gifts, we generate resources that take care of us.

When we keep what we have because we think it's insignificant, we rob ourselves of blessings of freedom and fulfilment.

When we release what we have, not only are we able to touch so many lives, we are also freshly refilled anytime we empty what we have.

There is no space for full jars. Only empty jars can be refilled.

Believe that the little can fill many and bigger vessels. Exercise your faith with the little and see God replenish to the overflowing.

Big things start in small jars. Shalom.

*Prayer:Pray that your heart will be filled with great courage to use what you have to bless the world.*
