JUST IN: The National Council of NGOs has urged the Government to review the current curfew time from 8pm to 9pm in the COVID-zoned area comprising of Nairobi, Nakuru, Kajiado, Kiambu and Machakos counties.
In a statement to newsrooms on Wednesday, National Chairman Stephen K. Cheboi said the current curfew time has proved challenging for many Kenyans as they struggle to get their daily earnings and return home in good time.
“What was witnessed in Thika Road in recent days and also in other places in some parts of the country where law enforces clashes with citizens or people arrested for not adhering to COVID19 regulations is not pleasing and thus the need for all of us to be responsible in one way or another,” he said.
