TECHNOLOGY HAS THE POWER TO BREED BILLIONAIRES IN AFRICA THAN THOSE OLD WAYS OF POLITICS AND RESOURCE MANIPULATION.
Let's evaluate the old ways of wealth creation and generation to the new ways. We are in the 21st century, okay, and let's see the list of the richest man in the world from this link. Thanks for sharing the link Oscar Njuho https://www.visualcapitalist.c....om/worlds-25-richest
We have had many discussions with my Friend Wanambisi H Eugene and even discussed the old ways that led to the development of America from this documentary the men who build America, Andrew Carnegie, Edson, Ford, J.p Mogarn John D Rockefeller, and Vanderbilt, if you look at these guys the had a different role when it came to development and each was in different sector nobody was competing with any of them, Edon was in light and electricity, Ford in Moto industry, John was in Oil industry J.P was in the banking sector and they developed America to great heights I will call these like the American legends that fought for that country and they had a vision for that nation, they did the manual labor and they rolled their sleeve for the work to be done, with revolutionization America had to build Silicon Valley a place where people focused on Idea development and this place now has produced many billionaires on this earth than any other place you can think of. Tesla, Facebook, Google, Twitter, AIRBNB, name them all are all origin of Silicon Valley as we speak now. Silicon Valley is a hub for technology and the research I have done that makes this place worthy to visit is they encourage failures more than success, people are here ready to invest in your idea and ready to support you till your idea is into visualization. I have been doing research to find out which industry is producing the richest people in this world and in my conclusion techy is doing it massively and that should be an eye-opener to younger people like us who would love to change the world. Let's who is the richest millennial before age of 40 and the richest younger millennial that has hit the mark of 1b net worthy and sees which industry they operate from.
Currently, Mark Zuckerberg: +$35 Billion is the first person on this leader board, and Kevin David Lehmann is the youngest billionaire at the age of 18 although through inheritance he has been able to accumulate the wealth this has a significant thing in the techy industry. Now when you evaluate this and come to Africa I feel like we are still in JP Morgan and Ford generations where we don't want to embrace innovation and techy stuff. We don't have innovation hubs, we don't have willing investors and if you land an investor he wants majority shares in your idea or company. Look at the story of Facebook and how Zuckerberg was allowing investors in it. You could get 1% if you invented a certain amount in it and those who believed in the idea did so. But back here at home somebody would want 50% shares and in addition, he is asking for a guarantor for his or her money that cant poke holes for innovation to younger broke people that are willing to work and change our economy. The leads in our innovation sectors some even don't know how Facebook works but they occupy those spaces and when you talk about it they feel provoked. In the current world, technology has given everybody the power to create and soon there will be a change in this world especially in Africa where the old horses don't want new breeds young people to occupy those spaces. If you cant give us spaces they don't steal our resources lets have been able to access the resources and build our Silicon Valleys back here in Africa and Kenya. The private sector is what drives the economy of the country.
