If a man is insisting on you getting him a child before he marries you in most cases it's because you're already having sex with him. So you've already shown you can compromise and so you're easy to push around and manipulate. If from the onset you make it clear you're keeping sex for marriage it will be very hard for someone to pester you about a child when you don't even entertain premarital sex.
Why men ask for this anyway? If he says it's for confirming your fertility, it means you're being married for reproduction, not companionship. You're not very different from his cows. And we all know even with cows the bull could be the problem. But many just want to mess up your life by walking out on you afterwards, or to establish a pattern of domination and control.
