What can really hurt us most?

Imagine if your car is stolen or got your house on fire, insurance will cover it. Fired from a job, you can quickly move on, believing in finding another one tomorrow. Met with an accident or a crisis and survived, you still feel grateful.

These things hurt for sure but not for a more extended period since you have redemption somehow.

Then…. What can really hurt us most? That we can’t forget much easily.

It is emotions.

Emotions have no redemption.

We are bound and attached in relationships with emotions. I remember one day asking divorced couples their main reason for divorce.

And each of them was like, “Don’t remind about that evil.” How now? How can you rename " a devil" someone you spent over ten years waking up from the same bed and roof together?

Everything you can control, stress and depression you can manage.
But when it comes to emotions, you fall and lose the battle.

Everyone is emotionally murdered the moment they are hurt and betrayed by someone they loved more than themselves.

If you think about someone who used to care and loved you a lot is no longer giving a f***k, you get deeper into emotions. Whether it is your dad, mum, partner, or even friends, it still hurts.

People who have been through betrayal, breakups, and disinheritance understand the pain much better.

You live in the past every day, cherishing those memories that are imprinted on your mind like forever. It hurts, but you finally find solace.

You find yourself in an illusion, expecting things to get better, and they don’t. You are not adequately ready to accept the truth, bear the rejections, and kill those beautiful memories.

Emotions hurt more than everything on the planet.
