Touch Care Foundation ?
Yesterday, I was Given an opportunity to both share, empower and minister to young ladies who due to one reason or another, have had hiccups and bumps in their education life, enjoyed a lot of games (this was fun ?) engaged in tree planting. I then realized its not about what you have in this world but what you do to touch another's life. True leadership lies in creation of an impact in another's life regardless of your current stature or schedules...I like saying we never lack time to help someone climb up the ladder a niche higher.
We truly all have a duty to help the youth in the community understand:-
1. Why they should focus and go to school and get educated... For schooling is a season, but what they learn is forever and will help them understand life much more better.
2. Why they should have goals... Every journey should have a destination, a path and plans, and life is the best Journey.
3. That they should believe in themselves and believe in God. For the first step of success is Faith. And that faith should be accompanied by actions (hard work and sacrifice). Along the way, it might be rough and bumpy, but they should recall that for diamond to be diamond, it undergoes a lot of pressure. For an arrow to travel the furthest, the bow has to be stretched the most.
We all have a role of empowering the girl child and also teaching our fellow men how to work with, embrace and also respect the girl child in education.
