*From today's Gospel*
*Jesus Look of Love and Mercy*
The gospel presents Mathew's call.
Jesus passes by and *sees* Mathew and calls him to follow him. Mathew doesn't ask anything like where are we going, he obeys the look and voice of Christ and follows Him. This is because Jesus looked at him with Love, *the Look of Love*
Later, Jesus sits at table and eats with tax-collectors and sinners. He himself is *Mercy* so he looks at them with mercy and wants to associate with them so that they feel forgiven. He looked at them with mercy, *The Look of Mercy*
We ask for the grace to fix our eyes on him as He Looks us with *Love and Mercy*
