Conquer Microwave Splatters with Vinegar Power!
Microwaves are convenient for quick meals, but reheated dinners often leave behind stubborn splatters. Here's a quick and easy tip to get your microwave sparkling clean:
Fill a microwave-safe bowl halfway with water. Add a tablespoon of white vinegar.
Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes. The water should boil and create steam, loosening the stuck-on food particles.
Let it sit for 5 minutes. This allows the steam to further loosen grime and soften any baked-on residue.
Carefully remove the bowl with oven mitts. Be cautious, as the steam will be hot!
Wipe down the inside of the microwave with a damp paper towel. The softened grime should wipe away easily. If there are stubborn spots, you can use the abrasive side of the paper towel or a non-scratching sponge for a little extra scrubbing power.
For stubborn stains, repeat steps 1-3. You may need to do this a couple of times for heavily soiled microwaves.
Dry the inside of the microwave with a clean paper towel.
