Referees could be the reason you are not getting your dream job.
Two years ago i stage_managed a phone call to one of my referee. I posed as an employer who wanted to know the person in details.
Upon calling the referee, the response we got was that the guy is fairy good, however the referee said he knows another guy who is more technically competent ,honest ,diligent and can perfom better.
Be Careful with whom you choose to be your referee. Cultivate a close, Legal and a Productive relationship with all your referees in your CV.
