NEVER QUIT, QUIT WHERE NECESSARY
James, a bank CEO, is a highly respected individual in his home town. He grew up as an orphan. His parents passed on when he was only two months old. His grandmother who was assumed to be guardian was never there to help him. She would send him away, lock him outside and not give him food. At the age of four, James decided to abandon his cruel mother and live in the streets.
In the streets, at that young age, he came across many challenges which some overpowered him. Lack of food was common to him. Bullying was usual to him. He would walk along the streets borrowing money or food. Many of the people would not understand the reason to why Joseph was living along the streets. Some would think he was just a naughty boy who has decided to run from home.
One day Joseph was approached by a street boy who convinced him to join a gang of drug dealers. He was now aging six years. It was hard for the police to identify him as a drug trafficker. He became the famous drug trafficker and was named ‘Power boy’. Different drug dealers gangs offered him a chance to distribute drugs in return paying him good money. The ‘Power boy’ would earn $500 per day. The unique thing about him unlike other boys is that he managed the money he earned. He opened a bank account using her grandmother’s details. He would save $400 per day.
One day, as Joseph was doing his day-to-day activities, he noticed unusual thing along the street. A tinted black painted car was parked along the road. The vehicle was at the same particular position for four hours. Joseph got concerned. He decided to move where the vehicle was stationed. After reaching the vehicle, the window pane at front seat of the vehicle, passenger’s side, was lowered. A white skinned lady with narrow face looked at him. “What is your name good boy?” the lady asked with a big smile. The smile on her face attracted Joseph. “My name is Joseph Winchester,” Joseph answered. “It seems you have been living here?” the lady said. “Yes. This is my home. Those are my friends,” Joseph said as he pointed a group of boys who were sharing food at a distant. As he was facing the side the boys were, two strong men held Joseph from behind and threw him in the van. They handcuffed him and wrapped his face with a bag. Later drugged him to unconsciousness.
When the bag was removed from his head, he found himself in a well furnished room. The door behind him opened. A tall black man with wide face entered. The man was wearing a bluish suit and black googles. The man sat on the table facing Joseph. The man remained quiet for one minute. “Joseph, do you know the problem you have put yourself into?” the man said, “when your mother died, grandma decided to take care of you. She gave you all what you needed. Then you dare leave home and live in the streets.” “Stop sir! Do you know the problems I experienced in that place? No food, no shelter, no peace. Do you know that my grandma promised that I will never go to school? Sir I know what I’m doing is wrong, drug trafficking. I know by the end I will earn some money to join school,” said Joseph. The man, while standing, nodded his head and silently left the room.
Joseph was left in the room alone. He didn’t know what to do or what would happen later. He stood up and started wandering inside the office. A lady named Jessica entered the room. She was working with Farewell Children Rehabilitation Centre. Behind her was the black man that was with Joseph earlier. Jessica told Joseph that she was impressed with his plans to join the school. She was ready to help Joseph to start schooling. Joseph accepted the proposal. He was taken to the rehabilitation center where he met new friends. He studied up to university level. He acquired Bachelor Degree in Economics. Immediately after schooling, he decided to start his own financial business. He used his little capital of $14400 that he had save in his childhood. The managerial skills he possessed made it possible for many companies to gain trust in his institution. The banking institution was recognized as the most profitable business of the year. That is all about Joseph the CEO of Banphi bank.
