kitui township is undergoing the final stages of ligi yeatu hosted by kitui stadium in partnership with kwa mukoma stadium. the league is sponsored by the private sector but with support of the county government. most local teams have been engaging in the games and benefitted from uniforms, balls and even other sporting equipments and more rewards are expected as the league comes to close.
today kids college played against samco fc in the opening match winning 3-1, wolves against ngiini winning 2-1 and kitui fc played against matinyani fc in the closing match loosing 1-2...the matches were just awesome to watch
