Using the keyboard as a mouse

If your mouse stops working at the most inopportune moment, we can switch the cursor control with the keyboard to complete our work.

To activate the function, press the key combination ALT + SHIFT + NUM LOCK. In the dialog box that appears, confirm the activation.

The mouse cursor is controlled by an additional number block. In addition to moving left, right, down and up (4, 6, 2, 8), diagonal movement (7, 9, 3, 1) is supported. Clicking is done by pressing the 5 key.

By clicking on the mouse icon in the tray, we can adjust the speed and acceleration of the cursor, as well as its acceleration when you press CTRL and deceleration on SHIFT.

How to use Photoshop directly from your browser

If you need to edit a photo quickly but don't want to download Photoshop and don't always have time, you can use the browser-based Photopea.

It's a simple service that works directly in your browser and supports most of the features of Photoshop. The service also supports all popular formats, from JPG and GIF to Sketch and PSD.

Among other things, Photopea supports layer masks, blending modes, brushes, selections, and more.

Forget CTRL+ALT+DEL

Most people will press CTRL+ALT+DEL when their computer crashes, and then instantly open the task manager. Instead, try hitting CTRL+Shift+ESC to open the task manager directly.

After all, if your computer's crashing, the fewer steps in the process the better. You can of course open the task manager by right-clicking on the task bar, but this method has a bit more of a sleight of hand feeling to it.

Win + Prt Sc : Save Screenshot

While Prt Sc allows you to take a screenshot, pressing the Windows button at the same time allows you to automatically save the screenshot. There is a folder named “screenshot” in your pictures destination, where PNG files of the screenshot will get saved. No need to add another screenshot tool!

Quickly re-open a closed tab

If you just accidentally closed an important tab in your browser, you can easily re-open it by pressing command+shift+t on a Mac or control+shift+t on Windows PC.

This can be used multiple times too, so keep pressing to open all the tabs you've closed recently. It even works after you've entirely closed and re-opened your browser too.
