Hope is what we need to have a successful future. With all the uncertainties in world, hope in God should be our anchor. Do not be swayed by what you see. Have hope for a better tomorrow.
Hope is what we need to have for a prosperous tomorrow. In Jeremiah 29:11 God says, ‘I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’
Many believers live life being afraid. Not knowing that the times and seasons are in God’s hand. They perceive challenges as God trying to harm them or as punishment. This isn’t really true. God knows the end from the beginning and every challenge we face, positions us for growth in our walk of faith.
What we need to face life with is hope. Hope in God our Father. That he is for us and not against us. He is in control and does not want to oppress us. Hope is what Jacob had when he freed from his brother Esau and went to Laban’s place in Paddan Aram. A place he had never been before but hoped all would be well with him. Jacob held unto his faith in God. He did not know that God had planned out everything for him. God had already prepared a place for him. He had plans to bless him. He had plans to increase Laban because of him. He had planned for Jacob to have a family and also flourish in that foreign land.
In such uncertain times it may be difficult to comprehend the current position of your life: your work life, family, or even business, but God has the future planned for. Worrying about life leaves us helpless. If God is able to take care of the birds of the air, how much more his children? We are much valuable than the birds of the air or even the grass of the fields. Hope in God.
Hopelessness is a cage; a confinement fashioned by the enemy to hold people captive. He wants them to live in despair and disbelief until they are completely shattered. The devil came to kill, steal and destroy. If you give him a chance he will destroy your life, steal your joy, peace, happiness, and kill your dreams and aspirations. In this state of hopelessness, the devil plays mind games on you. All he wants you to see is failure, disappointments, pain, sickness, defeat, unbelief, insecurities. He wishes for people to remain bound and believe things will never change. He is a liar that is why he desires to fill our minds with these thoughts.
In order to defeat this state, as believers we must know who we are in Christ Jesus. Things may not appear as they were before, but we have to rise above the issues and seek God.
Pray ceaselessly. Our faith should not be compromised just because things are different and we don’t know where to begin, No! Things may have changed but God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever more.
What he says in his word will never be altered, for he watches over his word to perform it. The Psalmist testifies when he says he has never seen a righteous man forsaken or his seed begging for bread. The Lord never forsakes his faithful ones, he always protects them.
Well, things may appear different, but could this be the unleashing of a new season for you? Could this be the new dawn you have been waiting for? Trust God even in such times he has so much great things in store for you. Believe that God is in control. If you can place everything into his hands, God will take charge.
Hope in the father. In the process of what’s going on, there is one who is the unchangeable changer. Trust him. Isaiah 40:31 Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Wait on the Lord; he shall certainly fulfill his promises. There is a future for those who hope in the Lord, they will not be put to shame. Jacob left for Paddan Aram with only a staff in his hands. But God told him that he would keep watch over him, He will bless him and give him an inheritance. For someone who did not know whether he would be welcome in a foreign land, he had to trust God. He waited patiently and finally the blessing was established. He went back home as a nation. He had large flocks, maidservants and men servants, camels and donkeys. God had enlarged him beyond his imagination. Indeed, the Lord had the end from the beginning. Now Jacob is our Father of faith. Sometimes we just have to let go of all we know and trust God. Just like Jacob did.
Our salvation comes from the Lord; he is a stronghold in time of trouble. Let us consider him who endured opposition from sinful men, so that we will not grow weary and lose heart. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the perfecter of our faith. For the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame and sat at the right hand of the throne of God.
God will never allow a man who hopes in him to faint, no, he renews their strength. God allows them to prosper. If we hope in God, he will lift us from one level to another. Those who hope in the Lord will inherit the Land. Psalm 37:9. They live in peace, he directs their path, and he guides them on where to go and what to do. God never disappoints those who hope in him. He grants them confidence to face life and conquer.
The blessing of God is for those who hope in him, who have been called according to his purpose. In all creation, no situation, either trouble or hardship or persecution, nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. For God did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all-how will he not also along with him graciously give us all things?
The Lord upholds the righteous and richly provides for them. God has the power to what he has promised us. His love for us is immeasurable. He is able to do more than all we can imagine.
